Be Like Oskar

One of my friends on facebook posted this video a while ago.  Watch what happens when Oskar, who was born blind (his eyes weren't fully developed) gets his first toy....I was taken by how he seems lethargic...until his world is opened.

I hope you can take a similar stance.  While we have been dealt blows, and face a scary future, there's joy and fun still to be had.

  1. Hi Lisa,
I was a little hesitant to click on the video for fear it was a tear jerker. In fact, it was quite inspiring and I looked on youtube for a couple more videos of little Oskar.
It seems like animals deal with adversity much better than us humans.
    Take care.

  2. Aw...Vicki, I'd never put a sad video up....I'm all about laughter. :) Stay away from the Bongo Oskar, though....someone had fun with Photoshop with the Oskar battles the Hair Dryer. Lisa

  3. Love it! I have a cat who loves to play. Yes, we can find a new normal with stage IV cancer, and it can be joyful if we just explore.
